If you have an existing NetID and have not yet claimed your account: Your existing NetID should now be available to be activated in this system. Please claim / activate your existing NetID in this system by updating your password and setting up your security questions and answers. Please use the Claim an Account link below.

If you are new to GW (new students, staff, faculty, etc.) and do not yet have a NetID: Create a NetID using this tool. Please use the Claim an Account link below.

If you have already claimed your account / NetID in this system and want to make changes to that account, such as resetting your NetID password, please use the Account Management Tool link below.

Security Advisory

The Identity Management system enables access to important information related to your role within the university. It is crucial to never share your GW login credentials with anyone.

Never respond to e-mails or ads that request your GW NetID (the portion of your e-mail address before the "@"), your GWid, the passwords that correspond to these accounts or any other confidential information. If you are unsure about the validity of a message you receive or a link you see, please forward it to the Division of IT at abuse@gwu.edu.
